The casing is a lot heavier duty with reinforced corners and edges for extra protection in harsh working environments. The torch is now longer being 2 meters allows for better reach when welding, the earth clamp is also now a heavy duty 200amp earth clamp. The functionality has been upgraded with a better user friendly interface and easier use of the dials and buttons. The upgraded version makes the New MIGARC 165 best in it's class and a solid machine for small projects.
